Reports indicated there was no major damage.
The Buffalo Bills’ new Highmark Stadium is a $2.1 billion project. Owners Terry and Kim Pegula are responsible for picking up the more than $560 million in overruns.
Earlier this year, the team shared beautiful artist renderings of New Highmark Stadium. Their current stadium is the fourth-oldest NFL venue. That is behind Soldier Field, Lambeau Field, and Arrowhead Stadium.
New Highmark Stadium will have around 62,000 seats and feature a grass playing surface. It will sit right across the street from the current stadium.
The new Highmark Stadium is on track to open in Summer 2026. It will come just in time for the start of the 2026 NFL season.
