The Buffalo Bills are now 10-4 after defeating the New England Patriots 35-31 in yet another thrilling second-half comeback. That leaves Buffalo one game back of New England in the AFC East, with just three games left to play in the 2025 regular season.

Entering the matchup in Foxborough, MA, quarterback Drake Maye was widely viewed as the front-runner to win NFL MVP, while Josh Allen was quite a bit further back in the race. Have things changed now that Allen once again put the team on his back to will a second-half win, and on the road against a team that had won 10 in a row? While many will still see Maye as the MVP, it’s fair to point out that he has not led his team back to a win in the fourth quarter.

Believe it or not, there’s still a path for the Bills to claim the AFC East a sixth-consecutive season, but it’s going to take a lot of help. Most of Bills Mafia would agree that winning the East isn’t as important as just getting to the playoffs this season.
