What do the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens have in common? They’re both teams with an MVP at quarterback who are trying to get past Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Would Micah Parsons help?
This very well may be the year that the Bills or Ravens reach the Super Bowl. Yet, despite both teams looking really strong on paper, it doesn’t mean they’ll automatically get the results they seek.
Yet, now that Parsons has requested a trade, the Dallas Cowboys are sure to be busy listening to trade calls (even if they don’t really want to). So, what about the Bills and/or Ravens?
Recently, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio suggested that the Bills and Ravens should both push strongly for a Parsons trade. Why? Because both are top contenders who could greatly benefit from the addition of Parsons (who couldn’t benefit from an elite superstar?)
“The obvious candidates are the Bills and the Ravens,” Florio wrote. “Both want to get past the Chiefs. Parsons could help make that happen.”
Florio goes on to mention others, such as the Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, and Minnesota Vikings, as other viable options. However, as he points out, the Cowboys may prefer to avoid sending their best player to another conference rival.
Either way, if a top contender trades for Parsons, their first-round pick likely won’t be high in the order, which could make them more motivated to strike a deal.
