The Buffalo Bills trail the Pittsburgh Steelers 7-3 in a game that defines the importance of field position. If there’s one thing to prioritize against Pittsburgh, it’s not turning the ball over on offense. Yet, quarterback Josh Allen and running back James Cook III have killed scoring opportunities thanks to a turnover from each.

Being candid, this offense is terrible. There have been two catches by wide receivers. The running back is working well as expected, but offensive coordinator is telegraphing plays by overusing Cook in too many predictable ways. Buffalo has twice as many yards on offense as compared with Pittsburgh, yet they trail by four points thanks to those two costly turnovers.

Can the Bills make a play downfield, getting their wide receivers more involved in this game despite the wind? Neither team has any semblance of a downfield passing attack. It’s not shaping up to be a pretty second half, especially with the chippy flow of the game and the officials’ willingness to let it play out.

Here’s your open thread for the rest of Bills-Steelers. As always, be kind to one another — and in all things… Go Bills!
