The Buffalo Bills trail the Denver Broncos 20-10 at halftime, with Denver scoring 10 points in a span of 22 seconds. It’s been a physical game, and one that’s continued to cost Buffalo plenty on the injury front — as well the Broncos.

After winning the coin toss to defer, Buffalo looked like it was going to surrender an opening-script touchdown, but thankfully they were able to clamp down and hold Denver to a field goal. The Bills came out on offense intent on running the ball down the Broncos’ throats, and it worked for much of the first half, none more so than during their opening drive on offense where they hit the end zone.

There’s a lot to dissect and we will here at Buffalo Rumblings, win or lose. But there are two things key to advancing in the postseason: winning the turnover battle, and exiting healthy. Neither of those facets have gone Buffalo’s way to this point, but the Broncos have given the Bills several chances to steal a possession. Buffalo must find a way to get meaningful turnovers in the second half.

An injury to defensive back Cam Lewis, who was starting at safety for Jordan Poyer, likely cost the Bills six inside a minute to play. Then, quarterback Josh Allen handed Denver the ball back with mere seconds to play, and the Broncos kicked a field goal to end it.

With that, here’s your open thread for the second half of Bills-Broncos, Divisional Round. As always, be kind to one another — and in all things… Go Bills!
