Revenge of the Birds
For seven consecutive years the Arizona Cardinals have had a player on the NFL Top 100 list. Sure, some years they have had more, but for seven years you could count on Budda Baker to be on that list.
While Baker is down about 40 spots, his presence on the list, and on the field for the Arizona Cardinals has been a key presence that has allowed them to have some semblance of talent.
For the Cardinals, Baker has been a captain and mainstay on the field for a defense that has desperately needed someone to join him as a consistent playmaker during his tenure.
What Baker does as a downhill safety cannot be understated.
Baker is an eight time Pro Bowler and two-time All Pro, as well as a two-time second team All Pro and continues to be a bright spot for an organization that doesn’t always have them.
