The Buccaneers are signing former Dolphins linebacker Anthony Walker to a one-year deal.

The Buccaneers continued to add to their defense on Thursday morning with their second signing of the day on that side of the ball. Per NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Bucs are signing former Dolphins linebacker Anthony Walker to a one-year deal. Walker’s signing helps replace former Bucs linebacker K.J. Britt who signed with the Dolphins this week, as well.

Walker is entering his ninth season in the NFL after being selected in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft out of Northwestern. This past season in Miami, Walker started eight games while playing in 14 total. He finished the year with 68 tackles, one sack, two pass breakups, and one interception. From 2017 to 2024, Walker as career totals of 581 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, four interceptions, 21 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries.

In his final collegiate season, Walker was a Third-Team All-American and a First-Team All-Big Ten honoree.
