Todd Bowles completely lost it in front of reporters after his team blew a two-score fourth-quarter lead to lose in the dying embers on Thursday night.
It’s a good thing kids are probably in bed by the time ‘Thursday Night Football’ is over. Another good thing? The fact that they do not care about press conferences… because Bowles veered off the rails.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach launched into a tirade while speaking to the media after losing to the Atlanta Falcons, suggesting his players did not care enough.
The Buccaneers entered the fourth quarter leading Atlanta 28-14, but failed to score another point in the period.
Bijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts scored a touchdown each to bring the Falcons to within two points. And then Zane Gonzales scored a 43-yard field goal to ice it at the death and ruin Mike Evans’ return from injury.

Bowles was understandably unhappy and went on an expletive-filled rant while speaking to reporters after the heartbreaking 29-28 loss.

Not the sort of thing you’d expect from such a soft-spoken man.
This would have been less surprising coming from, say a Dan Campbell or Nick Sirianni. Maybe… maybe even Mike McDaniel.
Bowles is going to have a hard time living this one down.
