The Tampa Bay Buccaneers rolled to a 29–7 victory over the Tennessee Titans in their Preseason Week 1 opener at Raymond James Stadium. The Bucs were carried by strong performances from quarterback Kyle Trask and running back Owen Wright while the defense forced three turnovers.

Below are some of the top stats with highlights from tonight’s game.

Tampa Bay:

  • QB Kyle Trask went 12-of-16 for 129 yards, no touchdowns or interceptions.
  • RBs Owen Wright and Sean Tucker each found the end zone: Wright rushed for 87 yards and 1 TD, Tucker added 50 yards and 1 TD.
  • Rookie WR Emeka Egbuka made his NFL preseason debut with one catch for 21 yards. Receiver Ryan Miller led all the receivers with six catches for 66 yards.
  • Defense delivered big: Three interceptions — one each by CB Roman Parodie (returned 39 yards for a TD), CB Tyrek Funderburk, and LB Nick Jackson.
  • Jackson, on top of his interception, led the defense with six tackles and one sack.

Tennessee:

  • Rookie QB Cameron Ward completed 5-of-8 passes for 67 yards in his pro debut, orchestrating the Titans’ only scoring drive.
  • RB Tony Pollard punched in their lone score with a 1-yard rushing TD.

  • Tampa Bay amassed 348 total yards compared to Tennessee’s 201.
