Buccaneers vs. Panthers: Predictions and picks for Week 18
Bucs Nation Bucs Nation

As the Buccaneers get set to take on the Carolina Panthers to wrap up the season following a disappointing Week 17 loss to the Miami Dolphins, we here at Bucs Nation will dive into some picks and predictions for Tampa Bay’s big Week 18 matchup against a divisional opponent.

Check it all out below.

Predictions

Offense

Tampa Bay’s offense is not clicking on all cylinders. Whether there is the oblique injury that is still hampering Baker Mayfield, the constant injuries along the offensive line, the lack of successful route running by receivers, etc., this offensive unit has been lackluster at best. With that being said, they will end the season on a high note. The team will total nearly 450 yards of offense with no turnovers to close out 2025.

Defense

Carolina had their way against the Buccaneers defense the last time they faced each other. Call it missed tackles, blown assignments, whatever. And it wasn’t even that impressive because they had under 300 yards of offense against the Bucs. But it’s how they were able to score with the situations they were given to work with. Defensively, this team has struggled to be a productive bunch. This week, the defense will hold Carolina to under 300 yards of total offense again sack Bryce Young at least three times.
