This season, Vea has demonstrated his strength and ability on the field by amassing 6 sacks, a career-high 9 tackles for loss, and contributing significantly to the team’s defense with 12 solo tackles, 2 forced fumbles, and 11 defensive stops for no gain. His impact has been felt this season for the Buccaneers and we now see it has been felt outside of Tampa Bay as well, who currently hold a record of 8-6 and lead the NFC South.
