Blogging The Boys
The Dallas Cowboys have a problem. That is putting it lightly.
Defense has been an issue from just about the start of the season for the Cowboys. Football is a team sport and the offense has fallen short in certain moments as well, but it is hard to argue that a more proper defense would have this team in contention for a playoff spot as opposed to on the outside looking in.
In seasons like this there is often a necessary fall guy for the chaos encircling a football team and this franchise is likely going to be no different in that regard. Change will likely come in the offseason and defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus is the betting favorite for the point of it. Maybe you don’t feel that this should be the case, though.
This is our discussion question today: Who should be the Cowboys defensive coordinator in 2026?
Perhaps you think Eberflus should get another shot. Maybe you feel that way for wanting a lack of more change. Consider that Flus is the third defensive coordinator that the Cowboys have had in as many seasons. This is not a reason to not change, just a point of context to issue out loud.
