The Dallas Cowboys are going to host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day in the United States.

If you are here then you are likely well aware how the Cowboys play on Thanksgiving annually, something that is a part of our lives as Cowboys fans. You likely have a routine with how you spend the holiday. I’d imagine you have told your wife, or mom, or grandmother, or dad, or grandfather, or whoever handles the turkey wherever you are to have dinner ready at a certain time. You have likely taken some measure to ensure that watching the game is not compromised is the point.

The point here is that Thanksgiving and our Cowboys fandom is synonymous. The memories created on the day stand out a bit more as a result of that.

What is your favorite Cowboys Thanksgiving memory?

Maybe it was a certain game or a moment from one. Perhaps your answer is more personal. I’ll say that mine is that my son, who turned four years old on Monday, was born the night before Thanksgiving which made all of the things we do around here interesting from my perspective to say the least. It felt so right that my own life would have this new element to the fun and fanfare that Thanksgiving offers.
