Blogging The Boys
It is never hard to dunk on the Dallas Cowboys. Odds are you experience this in your day-to-day life. Maybe someone at work or a friend or family member is the perpetrator. Whoever it is, someone gives you a hard time about the Cowboys and generally plucks the low-hanging fruit to do it. We all have that person in our lives.
It stands to reason that these people and literally everyone else in the universe, including lots of us, are going to pick the Cowboys to lose to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. How could you not?
Please know that our discussion prompt for today is offered with no level of cope or long-shot optimism. The difficulty of Thursday night is not lost on anyone.
But are the Cowboys being overlooked? Even just a bit?
Depending on exactly where you look the Cowboys are underdogs and by multiple possessions (more than 8 points). The Eagles are the current gold standard and Dallas has their warts… but that line feels a bit much, no?
