It was once said that Christmas is the season of perpetual hope. To be clear it was Kate McCallister in Home Alone who said this, but it was said nonetheless.
On the subject of hope there seems to be very little with regards to the Dallas Cowboys. There is obviously not any in terms of this season as they have been formally eliminated from playoff contention, but even hope for the future seems grim at the moment.
Let’s play Santa Claus for a minute. If you could guarantee one thing involving this team (talking about practical things here, nothing outlandish or impossible) happen in the offseason that would inspire hope, what is that one thing?
Basically, what is the one lever that the Cowboys can flip to make you feel like they are turning things around? Maybe you feel like that one thing doesn’t exist, but what is the closest thing then?
