We have reached the second week of the offseason for the Dallas Cowboys and on some level it doesn’t really feel like it.
Maybe this is the case because there are still actively NFL games going on. Things stay pretty busy even after the Super Bowl with the NFL combine beginning and free agency not to far behind. We still have a little bit of a ways to go before we are truly wandering through the desert, so to speak.
Perhaps the reason things feel this way is because there is hope around the Cowboys for the first time in a while. The 2025 season was weighed down with how poor the defense was and it seems that the organization may be trying to turn that around and do so quickly.
