The Eagles reminded those New York Football Giants that they still have a long way to go in a Sunday afternoon beating at the Linc. We all know the referees were bad. Really bad. If you were to ask a Giants fan, they would probably say it affected the Giants way more than it did the Eagles. If you asked me, I would say that it probably looks that way because of the plays in which those calls were made. Of course, you won’t find Giants fans complaining about the refs when they gave them essentially the entire field last week during their game-tying drive against the Denver Broncos after a historic collapse, but I digress.
So we move to the Giants radio calls. Bob Papa and Carl Banks weren’t happy about the tush push forward progress ruling. For the rest of the game, they started forming the narrative that they can’t beat the Eagles and the refs, creating scenarios that didn’t exist during a blowout. Blow to Dart’s head? Jahan Dotson OPI just because jumped over a defender? Yikes.
