Browns WR intrigued by who ‘comes away’ with the starting QB job

After the trade of DE Myles Garrett, the story for the Cleveland Browns is squarely on the quarterback position. New HC Todd Monken isn’t ready to name a starter but has labeled Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders as the two quarterbacks in the running to take the role.

Watson has reportedly taken the lead in the battle, but Sanders has impressed as well. The Browns are reportedly very happy with how the competition is going, but there is ‘90%’ left to be determined.

Whichever quarterback wins the job will have an improved set of weapons to throw to, along with a new offensive line. WR KC Concepcion, one of the new receivers, spoke with the NFL Network about who might be throwing him the football this year. The first-round rookie, who has dealt with a stutter his entire life, was overall positive about both quarterbacks:

Obviously, the rookie knew better than to predict who would win or provide any fodder for discussions around Watson versus Sanders. The word “intriguing” was… intriguing… at least. It seems to indicate that Concepcion doesn’t have an idea of who might get the job.
