Very few are expecting the Cleveland Browns to beat the Green Bay Packers in Week 3 of the NFL season. That was true when the schedule came out, became seemingly more certain when the Packers acquired DE Micah Parsons and was close to sealed with the way the Browns played in the first two weeks of the season.
Cleveland fans already want QB Joe Flacco benched. Special teams continues to be less than special and another key injury could greatly impact Week 3.
The first two injury reports of the week presented concerns for both sides, including a key Green Bay injury on Thursday. The final injury report has two players ruled out, one on each side, and a total of six questionable, including the home team’s kicker and returner.
Bitonio did not practice at all this week, while Szmyt got injured on Friday. Carter and Conklin were limited for the last two practices, which could provide hope that they’ll be able to play Sunday.
Reed has already undergone surgery and will likely go on IR soon. Kraft was injured in Thursday’s practice and did not participate on Friday. There has been talk of a potential IR stint, but the team believes they dodged that bullet.
