The Cleveland Browns will take on the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday in the second game of the preseason for both teams.
Cleveland is coming off a win against the Carolina Panthers that saw rookie Shedeur Sanders set hearts aflutter with a solid performance against the Panthers. There will be no repeat this weekend, however, as Sanders will be sidelined for a while after suffering an oblique injury in practice.
In his place might be fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury the past two weeks that has limited his practice availability. Gabriel will be a game-time decision, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski, but if the hamstring holds up, Gabriel will have a chance to state his case, albeit against a Philadelphia defense that is several steps ahead of what Sanders faced in Carolina.
It’s the Browns vs. Eagles on a Saturday afternoon, and here is everything you need to know about the game.
