The Cleveland Browns are coming off an impressive Week 1 preseason performance against the Carolina Panthers, with a chance to build on things in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Joint practices will likely see the majority of the star-on-star action with limited action for the starters during Saturday’s early afternoon matchup.
QB Shedeur Sanders was the star of the show against the Panthers, but could see less time against the Eagles, with QBs Dillon Gabriel and Kenny Pickett seeing action in practice on Monday. DE Myles Garrett is one of the stars who could be held out in the game but could benefit from practicing against Philadelphia’s talented offensive line.
Garrett’s name is also back in the headlines for his driving.
In 2022, Garrett injured his shoulder and was cited with failure to control and speeding due to an accident during the early part of the season. Now, like Sanders earlier this offseason, Garrett has been ticketed for going 100 miles per hour:
According to Brad Stainbrook, Garrett can pay a $250 fine to settle the ticket.
