The Cleveland Browns need all the help they can get heading into Week 5 of the 2025 NFL season. With a 1-3 record, having to travel to London to face the Minnesota Vikings (who have been overseas for over a week already) and with the Pittsburgh Steelers on the schedule the following week, the Browns are not ready to give up on the season, as the Cam Robinson trade showed.
Robinson will hopefully stabilize the left tackle position after Dawand Jones’ season-ending injury.
Cleveland is far from the only team dealing with injuries and underperforming. The AFC North is a mess currently, with the aged Pittsburgh Steelers the only team with a winning record, while the expected division winner, the Baltimore Ravens, is tied with the Browns at the bottom and has a myriad of injuries.
Two of Cleveland’s future opponents, including the Vikings in Week 5, got bad news this week as well. First, Minnesota will be without its starting right tackle against the Browns stellar defensive line:
The Vikings are expected to be without QB JJ McCarthy once again this week due to injury. Carson Wentz will fill the starting role in his place.
Then, on Monday Night Football, the Miami Dolphins lost star WR Tyreek Hill to a significant knee injury that will likely lead to multiple surgeries:
As noted by many after the injury Monday night, a dislocated knee is much worse than a dislocated kneecap.
Miami travels to Cleveland in Week 7 and currently holds the same 1-3 record as the Browns.
