Browns roster: Expectations for Jerry Jeudy’s 2nd season in Cleveland

WR Jerry Jeudy hit his stride last season in his first year with the Cleveland Browns after some challenging seasons with the Denver Broncos. He finished the year with 90 receptions for 1,229 yards and 4 touchdowns, which led him to his first Pro Bowl selection in his career. What made this achievement all the more impressive was the fact that the Browns’ offense was ranked worst in the league in total yards per game and 30th in total points per game. Jeudy’s ability to put up impressive offensive showings despite the lack of production from the rest of the offense was especially promising.

Will Jerry Jeudy have another Pro Bowl season?

The uncertainty surrounding the quarterback position creates some initial hesitancy about whether he will have the production to warrant another Pro Bowl season. However, the same can be said for last season, where Cleveland had four different starting quarterbacks – Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winston, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and Bailey Zappe. Jeudy still found ways to contribute despite the uncertainty, so it’s reasonable to assume he can do that again.

Considering the talent in the rest of the wide receiver group, a Pro Bowl season from Jeudy would be a welcome boost for an offense that many doubt will find much success this year.
