Like most teams, the Cleveland Browns are regularly making adjustments to their roster throughout training camp. Whether it is due to injuries, poor performance or just general need on the roster, players in the back half of the 90-man are far from secure in their positions.

On Monday, the Browns made five roster moves, including waiving WR Luke Floriea with an injury designation:

The Cleveland Browns have signed CB Christian Holmes and CB Darius Rush. In addition, the team has waived WR Luke Floriea (injury designation) and T Roy Mbaeteka. The club has also designated T Kilian Zierer as the team’s international player.

Tuesday, before the team headed out to meet the Philadelphia Eagles for joint practices and the second preseason game, Cleveland made two other moves:

  • Signed DE Titus Leo
  • Waived WR Chase Cota

Cota was signed a week and a half ago after a workout with four other players. He was targeted twice in the preseason opener but did not record a reception.

Leo was a sixth-round pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 2023 but was injured his rookie season and picked off the Colts practice squad by the New England Patriots last year. In four games (nine snaps on defense, 77 on special teams, Leo had four tackles including one for a loss with the Patriots.

After being waived during the offseason, Leo joined the Tennessee Titans before being waived earlier this month.
