Browns, Ravens Week 2 injury report: 3 starters DNP for BAL, CLE mostly healthy

In what has become a rare sight, the Cleveland Browns start out a week a bit healthier than their opponent. Of course, the Browns have more players listed on their participation report, but the Baltimore Ravens have three injured starters on Wednesday’s practice report, including two very important players.

We know that Cleveland is planning to stick with K Andre Szmyt for the Week 2 AFC North matchup that includes QB Joe Flacco facing his former team in Baltimore for the first time ever. The underdog Browns could pull off a huge upset or be the medicine the Ravens need after melting down in Week 1.

Getting RB Quinshon Judkins back for the game, even if he is on a limited snap count, could be really helpful for Cleveland, but Baltimore has even bigger worries based on the first injury report:

  • OL Jack Conklin – Eye, Elbow – Limited
  • DT Mike Hall Jr. – Knee – Limited
  • OT Dawand Jones – Knee – Limited
  • RB Quinshon Judkins – Not injury related – DNP
  • CB Denzel Ward – Shoulder, Achilles – Limited

Ravens Injury Report

  • CB Jaire Alexander – Knee – Limited
  • TE Isaiah Likely – Foot – DNP
  • DT Nnamdi Madubuike – Ankle – DNP
  • FB Patrick Ricard – Calf – DNP

Likely and Ricard were inactive in Week 1 for Baltimore, while Madubuike, a Pro Bowler the last two seasons, played in 69% of the team’s defensive snaps.
