Dawgs By Nature
We all saw it last week with Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders, so we all knew this was likely, and now it is confirmed. Sanders has gathered his first NFL award as the league’s Rookie of the Week for Week 14. TE Harold Fannin Jr. was also up for the award, but it would have been tough for anyone to take the award from Sanders, given his 364 yards, 3 TDs, and one rushing TD performance against the Tennessee Titans.
The future for the Browns and Sanders is still in question. Can Sanders change the team’s draft plans? The tough schedule ahead will help provide some more answers.
For now, Cleveland fans can have a bit of hope, out of the struggles that have been the 2025 NFL season, with Sanders’ performance and the award:
After taking over when Dillon Gabriel was hurt against the Baltimore Ravens, Sanders has thrown for 769 yards with five TDs and 3 INTs. This week, HC Kevin Stefanski installed Sanders as the team’s starter for the rest of the year.
