In between Browns minicamp and training camp, Shedeur Sanders spends time with Cleveland youth

The Cleveland Browns are mostly done until training camp, with an OTA workout scheduled June 16th - 19th. Mandatory minicamp finished up with the QB competition between Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders continuing on center stage. There may not be a lot of reasons for optimism this season, but the Browns roster has some upside.

Gabriel and Sanders have said all the right things and have shown the ability to make plays so far this offseason.

Sanders has impressed many with his accuracy despite being fourth on the quarterback depth chart. Perhaps more impressively has been Sanders' dedication to Cleveland kids, starting right after he was drafted by the team. That continued right after minicamp, as seen in the videos below:

His connection to the community may be grounded in his faith. Following the draft and recently in a press conference, Sanders has talked about how important his faith is to him. He regularly tweets about God:

While Browns fans hope Sanders (or Gabriel or Pickett or Flacco) can lead the team out of its history of failures, the Cleveland community will happily embrace Sanders connecting with the youth of the area.
