The Cleveland Browns have officially signed WR Kaden Davis to the active roster from the practice squad today ahead of their game against the Baltimore Ravens this weekend.
Davis, officially in his fourth season after signing with the Denver Broncos as a UDFA in 2022, has been a fan favorite in Cleveland throughout the 2025 offseason and preseason due to his productivity heading into the regular season.
He was initially waived and then re-signed to the Browns’ practice squad on August 27th, and has been practicing with the team ever since. He was promoted once this season already on September 20th to participate on special teams against the Green Bay Packers.
He’ll most likely be limited to special teams against the Ravens as well, depending on the availability of Isaiah Bond.
It’s interesting that they made this move before announcing an injury to another pass-catcher, as Davis is now the seventh wide receiver on Cleveland’s active roster.
