Heading into Saturday of Week 3 of the NFL season, the Cleveland Browns had four players questionable for their matchup with the Green Bay Packers, including a question whether they’d have to add a kicker before the game. We got a quick update that K Andre Szmyt would be good to go, followed by the Browns announcing that WR/KR DeAndre Carter had cleared concussion protocol and had his questionable designation removed.
That left two big names for both teams questionable for Week 3:
On top of removing injury designations for Szmyt and Carter, Cleveland also announced that it was elevating two players from the practice squad, neither of whom is on the offensive line:
Last week, with Conklin inactive, the Browns also had OL Zak Zinter inactive, so the elevations do not assure that either or both Bitonio or Conklin will play on Sunday, but they are potentially positive signs. Cleveland’s practice squad includes Garrett Dellinger, Joshua Miles and Tyre Phillips on the offensive line.
We will have the official inactive report 90 minutes prior to kickoff of Browns vs Packers.
