The NFL draft and NFL free agency brought in some new players, now we have their jersey numbers
The Cleveland Browns added seven players in the 2025 NFL draft and a number of others via NFL free agency. Earlier this week, we asked you to help us rank the best offseason move by the Browns and now we have jersey numbers to pair with all those new players... and one big change for a player set for free agency at the end of this season.
It is important to note that numbers are subject to change after the final 53-man roster. At quarterback for example, Kenny Pickett has Dillon Gabriel’s college number while Shedeur Sanders’ #2 from Colorado was taken by DeAndre Carter.
Sanders instead is in #12, the number of his college teammate, Travis Hunter. Many thought the Heisman Trophy winner was earmarked for Cleveland in this year’s draft.
The lone veteran change came with Martin Emerson Jr. switching from #23 to #1:
With rookie minicamp starting this week, players needed numbers and now we have them.
Any numbers stand out to you? Do you care about what number a player wears (some believe certain numbers look bad on certain positions, etc) or is it just information?
Did you already buy a custom jersey assuming Sanders, Graham or others would have their college numbers? Do you have a #23 Emerson jersey? If so, tell us in the comments your thoughts as well
