Dawgs By Nature
The Cleveland Browns defeated the Cincinnati Bengals today by a score of 20 to 18, and when the game was over Kevin Stefanski was asked a few important questions. His responses to a couple of the questions revealed his overall mindset and thought process right now.
As everyone has heard, rumors are swirling about his future in Cleveland, and the Browns’ front office has been fielding different inquiries about the topic all week long.
In his postgame presser, Stefanski was asked a question along the lines of how much he’d like to continue coaching in Cleveland in the future.
His response was excellent and truly showed how much he cares about this team:
“This game’s not about me, I told you guys that. I’m proud of that group for fighting.”
Despite what some people say about Stefanski not caring about the players or that he’s not energetic around the team, the guys absolutely love him.
There have been multiple times when Browns players have attested to his “team first” mentality and have said that they’ve got his back in tough times.
The latest being Shelby Harris today, after the game.
Stefanksi was also asked another question about how he’s going to feel over the next 48 hours knowing that there’s a rumored possibility that he’ll be fired:
It’s abundantly clear that he’s only focused on the things that he can control, which is his mindset and his feelings about coaching this team.
