Dawgs By Nature
In what many outside of the two cities consider a tank off between two bad teams, the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets will match up in Week 10. With the two teams taking different paths toward the 2026 NFL draft, including a rumor that the Jets are not looking at the quarterbacks this year, the result from Week 10 was likely drastically impacted by the NFL trade deadline.
Despite both teams coming back from bye weeks, injuries at the start of the week created some concerns. Then, the Browns added TE Harold Fannin Jr. to the report on Thursday, with the rookie not participating with a hamstring issue.
To start Friday’s practice, Cleveland fans got some surprisingly positive injury news with both LB Carson Schwesinger and Fannin returning to practice:
Schwesinger returning to practice after a high ankle sprain is not only surprising but impressive. Most expected that the rookie linebacker would be placed on the injured reserve; instead, there is a chance that he could return in Week 10 after getting the bye week off.
Fannin seems to have dodged a bullet.
We will have a full injury report Friday afternoon
