Browns injury update: Report on Jack Conklin’s status vs Vikings, Week 5 in London

The Cleveland Browns will lineup with the Minnesota Vikings with a distinct injury advantage in Week 5, live from jolly London town. The Vikings final injury report on Friday included ruling six players out and listing three as questionable, while the Browns ruled out DT Mike Hall Jr. and listed OT Jack Conklin and CB Greg Newsome II as questionable.

Cleveland made two roster moves on Saturday, elevating two cornerbacks from the practice squad, which seemed to indicate that Newsome could miss the game. Both corners were elevated last week as well, but the team has since released CB Cameron Mitchell.

Saturday night (Ohio time)/Sunday morning (London time), we got an update on Conklin’s status for Sunday:

Conklin has played in just one game, and just 20 snaps in that Week 1 contest, this season. An eye injury, along with his elbow issue, knocked him out of the opening game and he’s been struggling to return to the field.

This week, the Browns traded for OT Cam Robinson. HC Kevin Stefanski was non-committal about Robinson’s availability for Sunday, but Cleveland could have two new starters at tackle for QB Dillon Gabriel’s debut as the team’s starting quarterback.

How big of a difference do you think having Conklin back could make for the Browns offense?
