Dawgs By Nature
The Cleveland Browns had a rough year with the wide receivers in 2025.
Jerry Jeudy, the presumptive No. 1 receiver, followed up a career year by leading the position with just 50 receptions and 602 receiving yards. Jeudy’s two touchdown catches were tied with Cedric Tillman for the most by a Cleveland wide receiver.
As for the rest of the group, well, they tried hard. But Tillman, Gage Larvadain, Jamari Thrash, Malachi Corley, and Isaiah Bond combined for just 67 receptions, 865 yards, and Tillman was the only one to find the end zone.
The Browns are currently in the midst of a “critical 120 days” to rebuild the franchise, which, according to general manager Andrew Berry, will include a “heavy investment” in the offensive side of the ball.
That investment is expected to include adding a wide receiver, either in free agency or the 2026 NFL Draft, which makes evaluating college prospects once again high on Berry’s offseason to-do list.
The upcoming East-West Shrine Bowl is an opportunity to see some of the available players in action one last time. And while the game does not always attract the top prospects at the position, the Browns will be there all the same, checking things out.
