The Cleveland Browns face what could be a must-win game for HC Kevin Stefanski while still realistically in the AFC North picture after the Cincinnati Bengals upended the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football. The Browns roster faces a lot of questions this week, with TE David Njoku ruled out for Sunday and five other players listed as questionable.
Last week, many wondered if QB Bailey Zappe would be elevated from the practice squad to backup QB Dillon Gabriel. Instead, QB Shedeur Sanders took that role with just the two rookies active for Week 6. With the number of injury concerns in Week 7, Cleveland’s practice squad decisions could be telling.
As of 2 PM Saturday, the Browns have not elevated anyone from the practice squad. The deadline is in a couple of hours, but the team has regularly announced those decisions by this point. The Miami Dolphins elevated LB Quinton Bell and CB Kendal Sheffield for the game on Sunday.
We will update the post if Cleveland makes any elevations, but for now, no elevations would be a good sign that a few of the Browns questionable players will see the field on Sunday.
