It is an honor to captain the ship here at Dawgs By Nature. I had so much fun helping to put together the introductory paragraphs to the staff’s 53-man roster prediction pieces. The most important thing for me was to honor Chris Pokorny’s work with the site, especially as the for-sure king of trackers.
The amazing work of EZ Weav with our weekday versions of the Daily Dawg Chow and the community he has there also needed to be honored as well. His roster prediction piece was a perfect place to do that.
Browns fans who have been around DBN know all about Chris’ trackers. Long before everyone was tracking UDFAs, Chris was there. Well before most people were updating cuts as they happened, Chris was there.
Chris also always gives the official DBN initial 53-man roster prediction, but this year, we wanted to give you more, so you can find all of our 53-man roster predictions in this “Stream” on the site.
To be honest on mine, I am writing it up after the team made 21 moves official on Sunday. So that is why I can honestly say that “Jared knows he’s wrong” because I will at least have one player on the list (hint: it is a cornerback) that is already off the roster:
