No one knows what the future holds for the Cleveland Browns next year. A new front office? A new head coach? A new quarterback? The Week 15 loss to the Chicago Bears was among the worst of the year for the Browns, but did nothing to change their 2026 NFL draft order position.
Cleveland will play out their last three games, two at home, with nothing to play for besides pride, future contracts, and NFL draft positioning. Next year’s draft seems likely to bring the Browns another new quarterback of the future instead of building around Shedeur Sanders. Francisco Mendoza, Arch Manning, and Dante Moore (if they all declare) could all be worth the top pick in the 2026 NFL draft.
Monday after Week 15’s loss brings us another Cleveland Browns 2026 NFL mock draft. This time, we add Mendoza, one of his favorite targets, and a lot of offensive line help. We used Pro Football Focus’ simulator for this mock draft.
1st round – QB Francisco Mendoza, Indiana
1st round – OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami
Adding the top quarterback and a potential stud left tackle would start the offensive revolution in Cleveland.
2nd round – WR Elijah Sarratt, Indiana
Sarratt is worth a high pick on Day 2 and bringing in Mendoza’s Hoosier teammate could be a double benefit for the Browns offense.
3rd round – TE Maxx Klare, Ohio State
A statistical downturn after transferring to the Buckeyes doesn’t change Klare’s upside as an NFL pass catcher, especially next to Harold Fannin Jr.
4th round – OT Brian Paker Jr., Duke
5th round – S Jalen Stroman, Notre Dame
5th round – G DJ Campbell, Texas
Continuing to fill out Cleveland’s offensive line with another tackle and guard is vital to allowing Mendoza to succeed.
7th round – C Parker Brailsford, Alabama
7th round – LB Kyle Louis, Pittsburgh
7th round – CB Jeadyn Lukus, Clemson
