Browns 2026 NFL draft order: NFL playoff rooting guide, Wild Card weekend
Dawgs By Nature Dawgs By Nature

The NFL playoffs, for the second straight season, do not include the Cleveland Browns. Instead, Browns fans are focused on the team’s head coaching search, looking at the roster, discussing QB options, and looking ahead to the 2026 NFL draft.

After winning the last two games of the 2025 regular season, Cleveland dropped from what would have been the top overall pick down to the sixth spot with their top selection. The Browns also have the first-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, but that part of the draft order will not be decided until the Jags are eliminated from the NFL playoffs.

With Jacksonville playing on Wild Card weekend, that means Cleveland fans have a 2026 NFL draft order rooting guide focused on the Jaguars:

Browns NFL playoffs, 2026 NFL draft order rooting guide – Wild Card Weekend

Highest Priority

  • Bills over Jaguars – Sunday at 1 PM

The Buffalo Bills are slight underdogs going into their game on the road in Jacksonville. The analytics data also leans toward the Jaguars. Cleveland fans are rooting for a Bills loss to get the Jaguars pick officially on the board and locked in as soon as possible.

The losers in Wild Card weekend will select between picks 19 and 24. The winners will, at worst, select between picks 25 and 28. Given the records of the teams playing this weekend, the absolute highest the Browns pick acquired from the Jaguars can be is 23rd.

Other Priority

  • Chargers over Patriots – Sunday at 8 PM

This game only matters if Jacksonville loses. New England is the only team playing this weekend with a better record than the Jaguars. If the Patriots win, after Jacksonville loses, Cleveland will acquire the 24th overall pick.

If the Jaguars lose this weekend, the Browns will acquire the 23rd or 24th pick overall. If Jacksonville moves on with a win over Buffalo, that range falls to 27th or 28th, most likely, if the Jaguars do not lose until the Divisional Round. A lot is on the line for Cleveland fans this weekend.
