Browns 2025 season: Least encouraging part of the team, roster
Dawgs By Nature Dawgs By Nature

The current Cleveland Browns’ season has tested even the most loyal fans in Northeast Ohio. There were some dynamic performances on the defensive side of the ball, but the dysfunction on offense was really highlighted this season. Whether it was dropped balls from wide receivers or inadequate play from the offensive line, the inability to consistently put points on the board and execute was really discouraging.

The Cleveland offense has been one of the worst in the league by most metrics, whether it’s yardage, scoring, or efficiency. There have been countless factors contributing to this happening. Playcalling has been inconsistent, and numerous questionable decisions were made in key moments. There have been consistent drops from the pass catchers, notably Jerry Jeudy, who has struggled to bring the ball in this season after having a Pro Bowl season last year.

The offense has had three different starting quarterbacks this season – Joe Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders. Constant turnover at the position has been challenging for the offense and prevented it from finding a consistent rhythm.

If the team wants to contend for the playoffs in 2026 or beyond, they will have to clean up the errors and develop a more reliable offensive system that can keep this team in games.
