The Denver Broncos will host the Tennessee Titans in Week 1. Denver is entering year two of the program with Bo Nix under center and have had a lot of hype around them this offseason, while Tennessee is starting a rookie quarterback in Cam Ward who they drafted first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. It usually bodes well for a good football team at home against rookie quarterbacks.

According to FanDuel, the Broncos are 7.5-point home favorites against the Titans in Week 1. The over/under stands at 42.5 for this matchup.

This line is pretty fair, but I hate big lines in Week 1. We have no idea if the Broncos will start out sluggish and sloppy or come out firing on all cylinders. That is something we figure out… after Week 1. That said, I am not a big believer in the Titans early on in this season and I believe the Broncos should win by at least two scores.

With the Broncos defense, led by Pat Surtain and a pretty ferocious pass rush, they should be able to frustrate and limit Ward during his NFL debut. If I had to predict a final score for this game, I’d have to say a 27-16 Broncos win is a reasonable prediction outcome here. That would give the Broncos an over on both the spread and just barely topping the over/under at 42.5.
