The Jets are 0-5, but have been somewhat competitive in a few of their losses. And the longer a team goes without a win to start the season, the more desperate and dangerous they become until they get that first victory. Hopefully, it is still early enough in the season that the Broncos will be able to handle their urgency.
For the Broncos, they just need to build on the momentum they have built from the biggest win in years last week. Sure it was a non-conference win, but it was against a quality opponent and that is an important benchmark for a young team on the rise. They play the Jets next week, then the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, and Las Vegas Raiders. This a very winnable streak of games and the Broncos must stack wins after that rough 1-2 start to the season.
