Broncos vs. Eagles predictions: Final score picks for NFL Week 5
Mile High Report Mile High Report

The Denver Broncos dominated in their ‘get right’ game last week after back-to-back walk-off losses. At 2-2, they are in must-win mode, while the Philadelphia Eagles at 4-0 have won every single game by one score. It hasn’t been easy for them either, but they keep finding ways to pull out the win each time. Will that streak continue in Week 5?

Collectively, our Mile High Report staff is predicting a Broncos 25-22 road loss to the Eagles in Week 5. We were all over the map on this one, but most of us had it come down to a very close finish with a mixed bag of wins and losses for our Broncos. Hopefully those of us who think they’ll lose are wrong on Sunday.

Here’s how each of us predicted things would go individually:

Eagles 24, Broncos 20

Look, it’s the whole 2-8 in one score games that has me on the fence with optimism. Until this team starts figuring out how to win those close games, I’ll have to give the edge to the team that has those close games figured out. The Eagles certainly do and they are playing at home. Obviously, I’ll celebrate being wrong harder than anyone out there. This team is on the cusp of becoming a contender and I won’t stop being excited about that. – Tim Lynch

Broncos 27, Eagles 26

There is a path to victory on Sunday. The Eagles’ offense is far from dynamic and sits fourth in the league in three and outs while averaging around just 120 yards rushing and 140 yards passing. They thrive off of turnovers and special teams. If Denver can limit their mental mistakes, play clean football, and resemble any bit of the team from Monday night, they can pull off the upset. – Ross Allen

Eagles 34, Broncos 13

While I am hopeful that this won’t happen, I still have PTSD from the last time the Broncos played the Eagles in Philly. It was the only time I have seen the Broncos in-person and the Broncos got absolutely embarrassed. I know that this is not the same Eagles team or the same Broncos team, but I have a bad feeling about this game. I think the Eagles are going to expose our ILBs and OLBs in run support and set a precedent for how to attack this defense. – Joe Mahoney

Eagles 23, Broncos 20

This will be a tough game for the Broncos to win. The Eagles have been great at home over the past few seasons. Even though their offense has struggled this season, they have a lot of playmakers to account for. On defense, they have struggled to defend the...
