After a strong defensive win at home in Week 1, the Denver Broncos will be on the road next week to take on the Indianapolis Colts who are also coming off a huge offensive and defensive dominant win on Sunday. Both teams are 1-0 heading into Week 2, but it is Denver who might have some questions to answer about their offense in this next one.
According to FanDuel, the Broncos are 2.5-point road favorites against the Colts in Week 2. The over/under stands at 43.5 for this matchup.

Sunday was a rough first game for the Broncos’ offense. While at times it looked like Bo Nix was dealing, he ended up having one of the roughest outings of his career. When asked how he did, Head Coach Sean Payton noted that he battled and that at the end of the day they won the game.
“Well we won, that’s the first thing,” Payton said. “I thought he hung in there. He battled. Made some critical plays first in the second half, and so obviously he’ll be disappointed with the turnovers, but it was a gutsy performance. It is pretty usual Week 1, a lot of different looks maybe that you hadn’t seen normally or scouted normally for relative to their coverages. Overall, his job is to lead us to score. I thought he played really well in the second half, and we won the game.”
Against the Colts, the defense will need to continue terrorizing opposing quarterbacks and, hopefully, the offense begins to find its footing. This team has potential to be a dangerous team in the AFC with the defense playing like it is. They just need the offense to be more consistent and, obviously, limit the turnovers. While they did struggle, I still think they should beat the Colts next week.
