With the news that the Los Angeles Chargers intended to rest their key starters and veterans, the line for this game jumped significantly throughout the week in the Denver Broncos favor. They are now favored by two touchdowns, but we know how these Broncos roll in 2025… take the under.
All they need is another win and they will secure the number one seed in the AFC and enjoy a week off while the rest of the conference must duke it out immediately after the grueling 17-game regular season comes to an end.

Collectively, our Mile High Report staff is predicting a Broncos 26-13 win at home over the Chargers. Here’s how each of us predicted things would go individually:
We’re going to go with a double-digit win here! But only just so. The Broncos tend to play up or down to their competition and while they are certainly capable of blowing out the Chargers backups, I’ll stick with the trend that has held true throughout almost the whole season. Even so, a win is a win and the Broncos take the number one seed on Sunday. – Tim Lynch
Every time we’ve expected the Broncos to win by multiple scores they’ve done a great job and grinding out a win that’s a lot closer than it really should be. I’m sure this week is going to be about the same as usual. This should be a huge game for the defense, going against backups, and maybe they can even force multiple turnovers. The offense will look vanilla and attempt to wind down the clock as efficiently as possible, much like the last two wins. So with that being said, I’m predicting a blow out. – Ross Allen
