What a freakin’ win, eh? One of the many things I love about a Broncos victory — and certainly not the best, but among the most fun — is watching social media light up with player excitement posts, especially “Club Dub” in action.
Also so fun to see former Broncos still paying attention to, supporting and defending their Denver Broncos.
And my favorite is the smack talking…If you weren’t paying attention on social media this week (first, good for you!) and second, you missed nothing important.
But you did miss a lot of undeserved hate toward Bo Nix for the team’s ugly win last week…particularly from this guy, a Fox Sports 1 anchor, who is an unabashed Chiefs fan:
And that led to blowback from a lot of people in Broncos Country.
Either way, the win gave the Broncos some new street cred among the national media, which had mostly written off the Broncos and had a mea culpa for its lack of belief (it’s BOlief)
But probably the very best tweets?
Easily the ones piling on the refs for an all-around terrible day with the flags.
Thankfully the Broncos beat both the Chiefs and the refs — and a huge part of it was thanks to Broncos Country in the stands.
