For this week’s survey, we’re asking fans about their confidence in the team, more specifically the offense, following the offseason hype and preseason 3-0 start.
Please take our surveyAs I’ve already written, the Broncos’ three preseason wins were a nice perk before the real games start, even if they did leave a little to be desired when it came to the offense being a well-oiled machine already.
That kind of expectation for the preseason would be unrealistic — not that that ever stops us. I was definitely guilty of loving all the offseason Super Bowl hype for the Broncos (and technically still guilty of hoping the hype is real). Regardless, it is not hype to be more excited for this season than any since 2015, and that feels good to have realistic hype and not just false hope.
Pat Surtain sees it, as he noted Tuesday.
“I just see a tremendous amount of communication and growth [on the offense],” Surtain said. “Like with Bo and all the receivers, throughout practice, they be giving each other checks, and I be trying to look to see what we are giving receivers. It is all about the chemistry they have with each other. I think it’s such a unique group that they’re building, especially with the young receiver core they have and the young backs that we have, and the offensive line. I think that whole offensive group is going to be special.”
The team is still a work in progress, but there is progress. Lots of it. And I cannot wait for Week 1!
