Mile High Report
With a win over the Los Angeles Chargers, the Denver Broncos improved to 14-3 on the year and have clinched the number one seed in the AFC and now have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. This caps off a successful season that saw the Broncos be the first AFC team to clinch a postseason berth and win the AFC West for the first time since 2015.
The Broncos are back, and the road to the Super Bowl now goes through Mile High.
Now that the Broncos have clinched the top seed in the AFC, they will have a much-earned and needed week off next weekend as the rest of the AFC playoff teams compete in the wildcard round. That round will decide which team will head to Mile High in the Divisional Round.
In the wildcard round, the 2 seed New England Patriots will host the 7 seed Patriots, the 3 seed Jacksonville Jaguars will host the 6 seed Buffalo Bills, and either the 4 seed Baltimore Ravens or the Pittsburgh Steelers will host the 5 seed Houston Texans. The lowest remaining seed coming out of that round will head to Mile High in the Divisional Round.
The Denver Broncos are now two victories away from advancing to the Super Bowl. It won’t be an easy road, but this team has found ways to win all season and will hopefully continue to do so throughout the playoffs.
Broncos Country, you have a week to rest up because we’ll need you to be loud and rocking in two weeks and help this team advance to the AFC Championship game.
The road to the Super Bowl goes through Mile High and hopefully ends with the Broncos hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.
