The Denver Broncos escaped with the 10-7 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, but not before heavy stress and a little bit (a lot) of doubt. Now comes the follow up game on Sunday in Las Vegas.
The Broncos enter the game on a nine-game winning streak at 10-2 and in a battle with the New England Patriots (11-2) for the No. 1 seed in the AFC Playoffs. As for the Raiders, they’ve been eliminated from playoff contention and are one of the worst teams in the NFL at 2-10.
As one would expect, sportsbooks like Denver to get the win. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Broncos as the -7.5-point favorite. The total sits at over/under 40.5 points, with a lean towards the under at -112.
Denver: Twelfth in total offense (340.8 yards per game), 14th in rushing offense (119.3 YPG), 14th in passing offense (221.5 YPG), 13th in scoring offense (23.7 points per game).
Las Vegas: Thirtieth in total offense (259.5 yards per game), 32nd in rushing offense (75.4 YPG), 26th in passing offense (184.1 YPG), 31st in scoring offense (14.9 points per game).
Denver: Fifth in total defense (286.4 yards per game), fifth in rushing defense (93.1 YPG), ninth in passing defense (193.3 YPG), fourth in scoring defense (18.2 points per game).
Las Vegas: Sixteenth in total defense (387.0 yards per game), 15th in rushing defense (110.8 YPG), tied for 17th in passing defense (212.5 YPG), 26th in scoring defense (25.7 points per game).

As I did for the Week 10 game, I’ll take any and all digs at the Raiders and the late Al Davis that I can. But it’s also true. Just win the freaking game and keep pace with the Patriots. Anything and everything can happen in the NFL, especially when it comes to divisional games. Especially in this rivalry. As we saw in the first matchup this season in Denver. The Broncos must do whatever it takes to win this game and improve to 11-2. Head into the final four games with another win and season sweep over the hated Raiders. The Raiders are getting blown out by everyone. Let’s try to avoid another 10-7 repeat game, eh? I think we’ve all earned a little chill guy vibe type game from these Broncos anyway. That’s all. The Broncos play the Packers, Jags, Chiefs, and Chargers to end the season, so if there was any time for a ‘chill guy’ type game it has to be this week.
