Brian Urlacher is just the latest athlete to give his opinion on the controversial topic of transgenders competing against naturally born women.
Donald Trump pledged to get “transgender insanity the hell out of our schools” and “keep men out of women’s sports.”
Trump issued an executive order on the day his second term began that called for “restoring biological truth to the federal government” and signed another titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports. “
It gave the federal government the latitude across multiple agencies to penalize federally funded entities that “deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities.”
“The war on women’s sports is over,” Trump declared at the time.
Former Chicago Bears star linebacker Brian Urlacher made his stance known on the issue of transgender athletes in women’s and girls’ sports in comments made to Fox News.
Urlacher shared his opinion on the issue during an interview on the “Global View” podcast.
“Why is it even a debate? A woman is a woman, and a man is a man… you’re born with what you’re born with,” Urlacher said.
Urlacher even referenced the controversy in Minnesota, where a transgender pitcher dominated the girls’ softball season.
A transgender pitcher from Champlin Park High School led his team to the promised land.
The team’s recent state championship win, led by the transgender pitcher, has intensified scrutiny of Minnesota’s policies on transgender athletes’ eligibility.
“It’s just different because we are men, there are certain things we do better than women, and it’s just number one, it’s not fair, and if I had a daughter who had to be forced to play against a man, I would not be okay with it and I would raise hell about it,” Brian Urlacher said.
“I just don’t get it, it’s a common sense thing, I just don’t see how you can push this and make someone thing they’re a different sex.”
“Crazy how this is even a debate now 😂😂😂, one fan said.
“And we all agree and stand by him,” a second fan stated.
“World starting to go back to normal 🌏🔥,” a third person said.
“A dude with (probably severe) CTE has more common sense than a democrat lol,” a fourth wrote about Brian Urlacher.
“Bout to buy and urlacher jersey,” one final fan commented.
