Another Super Bowl Parade has been marred by gunfire, with the Eagles’ celebration descending into chaos following their win over the Chiefs on Sunday.
The Eagles put in a dominant performance to beat the former defending champions 40-22 on the night, winning their second title in the process.
They took to the streets to parade on Friday in what should have been a celebratory affair. However, reports indicate that two people have been shot, with someone discharging a firearm in the Spring Garden area.
It’s also been reported that police are searching for a suspect wearing a grey Eagles jersey amid their investigations.
Meanwhile, the status of the victims is unknown.
This incident is the second of its kind over the past year, as one woman was killed while several others were injured during the Chiefs’ parade after they beat the San Francisco 49ers last February.
